Some think the KM900 Arena LG’s best touchphone yet. Others say it has yet to master the art of usability. But should you be looking for a smartphone to challenge the iPhone, that is great for watching movies and listening to music, although not so good for active activities like photography, surfing and texting, then this could well be it.

Although it has not yet gone to market, the Nokia N97 has already given a lot to talk. With expectations that will be the smartest smartphone on the planet, the N97 has been subjected to comparisons with several smartphone devices from other manufacturers, including the Sony Ericsson X1, the Samsung Omnia HD, and finally the Apple iPhone.

Skype have confirmed that a version of their VoIP software for the iPhone will be released tomorrow, Tuesday April 1st. Rumored to be in the works last week, the free iPhone Skype app will use the smartphone’s WiFi connection to make free Skype-to-Skype calls or ring landlines for around 2.1 cents per minute.
