Skype has become a top trending topic on Twitter today thanks to the news that it will be arriving in the Apple App Store on Tuesday for use on iPhones across the land. Mashable covered the story this morning and has fuelled the Twitterati’s enthusiasm for *yays* and *hoorays* . Whilst Skype isn’t the first VoIP service to appear on the iPhone ( TruPhone , WalkieTalkie , Fring ) it is arguably the highest profile brand which brings with it 30 million new users a quarter.
